A candidate can apply for one post/discipline only ; candidates applying for more than one post/discipline will not be considered.

Note: Engineering Degree can be B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg. Candidates with a 5-year integrated B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech. dual degree in the relevant discipline are also eligible. Candidates with a 5-year integrated B.E./B.Tech. + MBA or B.E./B.Tech. + M.Sc. are also considered, provided the final percentage meets the notified criteria. Candidates with an engineering degree in a branch/discipline other than those listed above are not eligible. Only full-time regular courses from UGC-recognized/AICTE-approved institutions are considered. General, EWS and OBC (NCL) candidates: minimum 65% marks in the Bachelor's degree in Engineering. SC/ST/PwBD candidates: minimum 60% marks (a 5% relaxation), applicable only against posts reserved for SC/ST/PwBD. SC/ST/PwBD candidates applying against unreserved posts are assessed under general merit standards with no relaxation in minimum qualifying perce

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) is applicable only against posts reserved for the respective category; if applying against an unreserved post, such candidates are assessed under general merit with no age relaxation. PwBD age relaxation applies irrespective of whether the post is reserved, provided the post is identified suitable for PwBDs. Ex-servicemen with at least six months' continuous service in the Armed Forces may deduct their actual service period from their age; if the resultant age does not exceed the prescribed maximum by more than 3 years, they are deemed to satisfy the age condition. Maximum upper age of the applicant, after all possible relaxations, shall not exceed 56 years.
