There are a total of 3 vacancies for the Stenographer-Grade-III post across different offices in the District Courts of Nagaland.

Candidates must fulfill the following essential criteria as on the last date of receipt of online application: Graduate in any discipline 6 months Diploma in Computer Operation 1-year course in shorthand possessing a speed of 80 words per minute Age Limits: Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 32 years, determined as on the last date of receipt of application. Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation (upper age limit of 37 years). Government Employees receive relaxation equal to years of service served, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

Application fees are paid via bank transaction to the Registrar G.H.C.K Bench Recruitment Cell (Account No: 40437170445, Bank IFSC: SBIN0008306) using the provided QR code. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

The selection process comprises three stages: Stage-I (Written Examination - 200 marks): Part 1 covers General English, Precise writing, Essay writing, Drafting translation, and English Grammar (100 marks). Part 2 covers General knowledge, Current affairs, and Mathematics (100 marks). Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies (1:5) in order of merit will qualify for Stage-II. Stage-II (Practical / Speed test - 50 marks): Shorthand test, computer proficiency, and typing test. Candidates equal to 3 times the number of vacancies (1:3) in order of merit will qualify for Stage-III. Stage-III (Interview / Viva Voce - 50 marks): Document verification and viva voce. Candidates must secure at least 60% marks (30 out of 50) to qualify the interview.
