GMC KB Asifabad Recruitment 2026 – Walk in for 99 Professor, Assistant Professor and More Posts

GMC KB Asifabad has announced 99 vacancies across 19 departments. The department-wise breakup, split into Contract posts (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and the Honorarium post (Senior Resident), is given below.

Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor: below 69 years as on 31-07-2026 Senior Resident, broad specialties: upper age limit 45 years Senior Resident, in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine: upper age limit 50 years To avoid any confusion regarding age eligibility, candidates can use our Age Calculator to calculate their exact age based on the prescribed cut-off date before applying.

Selected faculty will be paid a fixed consolidated monthly remuneration as per G.O. Rt. No. 1276, Finance (HRM.VII) Department, dated 16 July 2026. The remuneration is all-inclusive and subject to tax deduction at source and other statutory deductions.

Candidates will be selected based on merit, duration of teaching experience, and interview. For Professor and Associate Professor posts, the duration of teaching experience in that cadre and total teaching experience will be considered. Selection is nationwide, with first preference given to local candidates for Assistant Professor-level posts; candidates from elsewhere will be considered if local candidates are not available. Professor and Associate Professor posts belong to the state cadre. DNB candidates will be selected as per the latest NMC guidelines. Rule of Reservation will be followed.

Fill the application form completely and attach one set of self-attested photocopies of all required documents. Report to the O/o Principal, Government Medical College, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, on 11-09-2026, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Carry all original certificates along with the filled application and photocopies; applications that are incomplete or missing necessary enclosures will be summarily rejected. Attend the interview; original certificates will be retained under the custody of the Director, GMC, Siddipet, at the time of joining. There is no online or postal application process for this recruitment - candidates must appear in person on the interview date.

This is a temporary contract/honorarium appointment up to 31-03-2027, or till vacancies are filled by promotion/regular appointment, or till the need ceases, whichever is earlier; it does not confer any right to future government appointment. Non-local candidates must get their qualification registered with the Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection, for their appointment to be confirmed. Selected faculty are eligible for 15 days of leave per calendar year, on a cumulative basis. The selected candidate must submit a relieving order from their previous institute, failing which the selection stands cancelled.
