A total of 160 posts are available across 32 departments/specialties at GMC Wanaparthy. The specialty-wise vacancy break-up for each post is given below. The college has noted that the number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on actual requirement. Note on Tutor vacancies: The official notification lists a single consolidated figure of 30 Tutor posts against the Anatomy row rather than a department-wise split for this post. Eligibility criteria vary by post and, for some non-medical faculty positions, by specialty. The requirements below are as specified in the official notification. MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines. 8 years' post-PG experience, including at least 3 years as Associate Professor in the subject at a permitted/recognised medical college or institution. At least four research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Embase, Scopus, or DOAJ. Completion of the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology and the Basic Course in Biomedical Research, both from institutions designated by NMC. Selected candidates will receive a fixed consolidated monthly remuneration as per the post, inclusive of all components and subject to applicable tax deduction at source and other statutory deductions.

There is no separate online application deadline for this recruitment, as selection is entirely through the walk-in interview process on the date and venue specified above.

For Assistant Professor and Senior Resident posts, selection is based on marks obtained in the MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh/MDS PG degree examination. If marks are not awarded in the qualifying exam, 50% marks will be considered. Rule of reservation will be followed wherever applicable. Selection is nationwide; first preference is given to local candidates, and candidates from other states will be considered only if local candidates are not available. Local cadre rules will be followed as per Presidential Order (PO) 2018. DNB candidates will be selected as per the latest NMC guidelines. Selected candidates must submit a relieving order from their previous institute; failure to do so will result in cancellation of selection. Candidates already working in any other Telangana Government Medical College on contract basis in the same cadre are not eligible to apply.

Candidates must carry all original documents for verification at the time of the walk-in interview, including: MBBS degree certificate and MBBS registration MD/MS or relevant specialty degree certificate and registration Experience certificates, as applicable to the post Proof of research publications, as applicable to the post Category/reservation certificates, wherever applicable Incomplete applications or candidates without the required original documents will be rejected. At the time of joining, selected candidates must additionally submit a one-year bond on ₹100 stamp paper, duly notarized, to the concerned Principal of the Medical College.

The engagement is purely temporary, up to 31.03.2027 or till the actual need ceases or till regular posts are filled, whichever is earlier. Selected candidates will be eligible for 15 days of leave in a calendar year on a cumulative basis. The contract does not confer any right to future Government appointment. The contract can be terminated at any time with one month's notice during the tenure period if any misconduct is noticed. Engaged candidates will be at the full-time disposal of the institute and may be utilised in any manner required by the competent authority, without additional remuneration claims. If a selected candidate breaks the mandatory one-year bond, they must pay three months' salary as a penalty. Outside-state candidates must get their qualification registered with the Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection for their appointment to be confirmed.
