The Gujarat State AIDS Control Society functions under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat, implementing the National AIDS Control Programme. Appointments under this notification are made on an 11-month contract basis, structured on a fixed monthly salary and on a purely temporary arrangement in accordance with NACO guidelines.

There is a total of 1 vacancy available for the post of Deputy Director, Lab Services Division under the National AIDS Control Programme (HIV/AIDS Programme).

5 years of experience for candidates with M.Sc. / B.Tech (in the above-mentioned subjects) OR 3 years of experience working in a medical diagnostic laboratory for candidates with a PhD. Candidates with experience working in accredited labs or labs that have applied for accreditation will be preferred.

The maximum age limit for the Deputy Director, Lab Services Division position is 50 years .

Recruitment is made on an 11-month contract basis under NACO guidelines, carrying a fixed monthly salary on a purely temporary and ad-hoc basis. All applicants must bear their own travel and incidental expenses to attend the interview (self-financed). The selection process and merit evaluation are strictly governed by GSACS norms, and the final decision rests with the Additional Project Director, Gujarat State AIDS Control Society.
