GSSSB Operation Theatre Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 16 Posts

A total of 16 vacancies are announced for the Operation Theatre Assistant, Class-3 cadre.

GSSSB Operation Theatre Assistant Category-wise Vacancy 2026

Candidates must be between 18 years and 35 years of age as on 29 October 2026.

The examination fee must be paid online via OJAS portal using Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallets up to 01 November 2026. Fees paid shall be refunded to candidates who appear for the examination.

Competitive Examination (CBRT / OMR based) comprising Part-A and Part-B Document Verification of shortlisted candidates based on merit

The competitive exam comprises Part-A and Part-B conducted in a single question paper. A total of 3 hours (180 minutes) is provided. Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Qualifying standard is minimum 40% for Part-A and 40% for Part-B.

Part-A Syllabus: Reasoning & Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude (Number systems, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry), Constitution of India, Current Affairs of State, National & International importance, and Gujarati & English Comprehension. Part-B Syllabus (Technical): Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Applied Microbiology, General Pharmacology, Anaesthesia Technology, Healthcare and diseases (ECG, Respiratory failure, CPR), Instruments and Physics (ECG machines, Catheters, Pulse oximeter, Defibrillation, Ventilation, Gas physics), Communication, behaviour and computer applications.

Candidates must complete OTR (One Time Registration) on the OJAS website before applying. Ensure category and personal details are correct before confirmation, as no changes are permitted later. Only original certificates will be verified during document verification. Ex-servicemen and reserved category certificates must be issued by the competent authority in prescribed formats. Candidates must bring valid photo ID and printed admission ticket to the exam centre.
