21 July 2026 Last Date to Submit Application: 5 August 2026 Applications received after the last date, or found incomplete, will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

A total of 21 (Twenty One) Patwari posts are to be filled through re-engagement of retired Patwaris and Kanungos on a remuneration basis, against vacant Patwar Circles in District Hamirpur (HP). The official notification does not provide a category-wise or reservation-wise breakup of these 21 posts.

The official notification does not prescribe a separate educational qualification for this re-engagement, since eligibility is based on prior service as a Patwari/Kanungo. However, the prescribed application form requires candidates to furnish details of their 10th, 10+2, Graduate/Post Graduate , and any other qualification, along with the Board/University, school/college name, year of passing, and percentage of marks.

Retired Patwaris re-engaged against these posts will be paid a monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- . As per the terms and conditions, they will also be entitled to: One day's casual leave after completing one month of service (no other leave is admissible). TA/DA for official tour duty, at the same rate as applicable to regular counterpart officials at the minimum of the pay scale. Continuation of medical facilities and reimbursement of medical expenses as admissible to them as a retiree. The period of engagement will not be counted for any service benefits earned before superannuation.

Eligible retired Patwaris/Kanungos will be considered for the post on the recommendation of a committee constituted vide office order No. DRO/Estt/Re-engagement-8234-39 dated 28/12/2023, headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hamirpur. If applications received exceed the number of vacancies advertised, candidates junior in age will be given preference for engagement against such posts.
