Qualification / Eligibility
| Education Qualification | Full-time ITI (National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or State Trade Certificate issued by SCVT) from an institution recognized by State/Central Government in the relevant trade, passed during 2022–2026. Minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Equivalency Certificate required if qualification is equivalent. |

How to Apply
- 1Candidates must apply exclusively through the respective portal based on their qualification category. No applications through any other method or platform will be considered.
- 2For Trade Apprentices (ITI Holders) - Apply via NAPS Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in):
- 3For candidates already enrolled on NAPS portal: Login with User ID & Password → Click Apprenticeship Opportunities → Choose Course, Location → Type Establishment Name "Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited" → Search (Establishment Code: E07203200009) → List of trades will be displayed → Click Apply against the respective trade.
- 4For candidates not yet enrolled on NAPS portal: Go to https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ → Click Enroll under "Candidate" → Complete Registration (Qualification Certificate, Govt ID Proof, Bank Passbook, Photo, Resume required) → Complete Aadhaar verification → A unique Enrollment Number will be generated after MSDE verification (wait at least 1 day) → Then follow the steps above to apply.
Important Instructions
- Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, HOCL shall have no obligation to offer employment to any apprentice, nor can an apprentice claim the right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act in any Government, Public Sector, or Private Organisation are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply. Such candidature, if discovered at any stage, will be cancelled. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the respective portal - NAPS (for ITI holders) or NATS (for Diploma/B.Tech holders). Applications through any other method or platform will not be considered. The category/reservation claimed during the initial online submission of the application only will be considered. Candidates must produce the relevant certificate in prescribed GOI format at document verification; failing which, their reservation claim will not be considered and they will be treated as Unreserved. Candidates must ensure marks are entered correctly in the portal. Difference between entered marks and mark sheet uploaded will result in summary rejection of application. For NATS portal applicants: percentage of marks in qualifying examination must be compulsorily entered in the "% of Marks/CGPA" column. If not furnished, candidature will not be considered. Call letters for certificate verification/written test/skill test/interview will NOT be sent by post. Candidates will be informed by email or through publication on the HOCL website (www.hoclindia.com). Candidates must frequently check their email and the HOCL website for updates. No travel expenses are admissible during the apprenticeship training period or the selection process. Accommodation will be provided if available as per company policy; subsidized canteen facility is available during office hours only. If at any stage any information furnished is found to be false/incorrect or there has been suppression of facts, the candidate shall not be considered for selection and candidature/appointment will be cancelled without notice. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Only Indian Nationals need to apply. The number of training seats indicated may vary depending on future requirements. HOCL reserves the right to restrict/alter/cancel/modify the recruitment process if need so arises. Any legal proceedings arising out of this advertisement can be instituted only in the Courts/Tribunals/Forums at Ernakulam, which shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
