• Selection will be based on shortlisting through percentage of marks in the qualifying examination

• Stage 1 - Shortlisting Based on Marks Percentage
• Candidates will be shortlisted in order of percentage of marks obtained in the minimum prescribed qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/B.Tech as applicable to the respective discipline). Only marks entered in the application portal will be considered - if entered marks differ from the mark sheet uploaded

• Stage 2 - Certificate Verification
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates/documents. Candidates must bring original certificates as proof of age

• Stage 3 - Written Test / Skill Test / Interview
• Candidates who successfully complete certificate verification will be called for Written Test / Skill Test / Interview. Final provisional selection is in the order of merit/reservation from among those who successfully complete all stages

• Stage 4 - Medical Fitness
• Appointment of selected candidates is subject to medical fitness as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and amendments thereof
• and also subject to verification of character and antecedents and verification of caste/disability certificates as applicable.

• For Trade Apprentices (ITI Holders) - Apply via NAPS Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in):
• For candidates already enrolled on NAPS portal: Login with User ID & Password → Click Apprenticeship Opportunities → Choose Course, Location → Type Establishment Name "Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited" → Search (Establishment Code: E07203200009) → List of trades will be displayed → Click Apply against the respective trade.
• For candidates not yet enrolled on NAPS portal: Go to https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ → Click Enroll under "Candidate" → Complete Registration (Qualification Certificate, Govt ID Proof, Bank Passbook, Photo, Resume required) → Complete Aadhaar verification → A unique Enrollment Number will be generated after MSDE verification (wait at least 1 day) → Then follow the steps above to apply.
• For Graduate & Technician Apprentices (B.Tech/Diploma) - Apply via NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in):
• For candidates already registered on NATS portal: Login with User ID & Password → Search "Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited" under "Apply against advertised vacancies" or "Apply against yearly requirements" → Click Apply (status will show as "applied").

• Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, HOCL shall have no obligation to offer employment to any apprentice, nor can an apprentice claim the right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act in any Government, Public Sector, or Private Organisation are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply. Such candidature, if discovered at any stage, will be cancelled. No travel expenses are admissible during the apprenticeship training period or the selection process. Accommodation will be provided if available as per company policy; subsidized canteen facility is available during office hours only.
