HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Para Workers Recruitment 2026 - 30 Posts, Apply Offline by 31 July

A total of 30 posts have been notified across three categories of Para Workers.

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the trade of Electrician/Wireman/Diesel mechanic/Pump mechanic/Motor mechanic/Pump operator cum mechanic from a recognized ITI, or matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-cited trades under the Skill Development scheme of the Government. The candidate should have a minimum qualification of matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in the trade of Fitter from a recognized ITI institute, or matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-cited trade under the Skill Development scheme of the Government. The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Middle (8th) Pass or its equivalent from a school duly recognized by the State Government.

Minimum age: 18 years. Maximum age: 45 years. Age is calculated as on 31 July 2026. This age criterion applies to all three posts - Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter, and Multipurpose Worker.

The total selection process is based on 10 marks, distributed as follows: Initial merit is drawn up based on the experience and qualification of the candidate as per the notified criteria. The top eligible candidates (approximately 3 times the number of vacancies) will be called for the skill/physical test through a separate call letter. No TA/DA will be payable to applicants for appearing in the skill and physical test. Experience must be in the related field of IPH/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs or an outsourcing agency providing service in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag, supported by a certificate issued by the EE(JSV). These posts are purely part-time/hourly basis engagements for operation and maintenance of Water Supply/Irrigation Schemes. No TA/DA will be paid to applicants for appearing in the skill and physical test. The working hours for the selected incumbent shall be 6 hours per day.
