A total of 312 Assistant Staff Nurse posts (Post Code 26044) have been advertised under the Director, Medical Education & Research, HP. The Aayog has clarified that the number of posts is tentative and may increase or decrease as per requisitions received.

Applicant must be a female candidate only . Applicant must be a Himachali Bonafide . Applicant must be registered with HPNRC, Shimla-06 (Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council). The candidate must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications from a recognized University/Institution: B.Sc. Nursing with 50% marks, or GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with 50% marks

Selected candidates will be engaged on a fixed monthly consolidated honorarium of Rs. 25,000/- for a period of five (5) years. The engagement is purely temporary; the Assistant Staff Nurse (ASN) will not be a Government employee and shall have no right to regularization/engagement against the posts of Staff Nurse or any similar designation in the State of HP. The competent authority may, on a need basis, enhance the engagement period in the larger public interest. As per the governing policy, the State Government may, by notification, enhance the fixed honorarium considering various factors as it may deem fit.

The fee can be paid only through the Online Payment Gateway using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. No other mode of payment is accepted. Examination and processing fees, once paid, are neither refundable nor held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Copies of only the following documents/certificates are to be uploaded in support of claims made in the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), and must also be produced/provided at the time of document verification: Matriculation certificate for age proof Degree/Diploma certificate(s), along with mark sheets of all years, in support of educational qualification (B.Sc. Nursing/GNM) as prescribed under the Essential Qualification column; provisional certificate(s) along with mark sheets of all semesters/years, if applicable Experience certificate(s), wherever required (post-qualification experience only, duly verified/countersigned by the concerned Government Authority/Departmental Officer) Caste certificate, if applicable BPL certificate, if applicable Any other certificates required for determining eligibility as mentioned under the mode of selection criteria, wherever applicable Scanned
