Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS Hindi Officer Recruitment 2026 notification for the recruitment of Hindi Officer in Grade E at IBPS, Mumbai. The applications are invited through online mode, and eligible candidates can apply from 23 September 2026 to 06 October 2026. Candidates must hold a Master's degree from a recognized university in one of the following combinations: Hindi (major/elective) with English as major or elective at graduation, OR English (major/elective) with Hindi as major or elective at graduation, OR Any subject other than Hindi/English, with Hindi as major/elective and English as medium of examination at degree level, OR Any subject other than Hindi/English, with English as major/elective and Hindi as medium of examination at degree level Degrees obtained through correspondence, distance education, or open university systems are not acceptable. One year of experience in translation work from English to Hindi and vice-versa (reports/documents/letters) in a bank/financial institution is desirable, not mandatory. As on 01.09.2026 : Minimum 23 years, Maximum 30 years - i.e., candidates must be born not earlier than 02.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2003 (both dates inclusive). Figures as on September 2026. Annual CTC also includes PF contribution, medical benefits, mediclaim, telephone/newspaper reimbursement, canteen subsidy, performance-linked incentive, gratuity, superannuation and other benefits as per IBPS rules. Service Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service bond of ₹2 lakhs and serve a minimum of 3 years, or pay ₹2 lakhs to IBPS.

Selection is through: Online Examination, followed by Skill Test & Item Writing Exercise, Group Exercises, and Personal Interview, conducted at IBPS, Mumbai. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. No penalty for unattempted questions.
