The notification fixes a maximum age by post category and gives relaxation for some categories. The date as on which age will be calculated is not specified in the notification. IARI Age Relaxation

The notification states that the following emoluments will be payable as per applicable project norms. These are given with reference to ICAR/IARI OM F.No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated July 1, 2015.

The notification describes the selection steps as follows. Candidates send their application in the prescribed Performa, with self-attested scanned documents, to the AAO (Environmental Sciences) by email. Applications are screened. Eligible candidates shortlisted based on project work requirement are called by email for the online interview. The online interview is tentatively fixed for the first week of November 2026. Details and reporting time will be communicated by email, and all candidates shall adhere to the instructions. Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. Selected candidates must also produce a medical certificate at the time of joining. The notification does not mention a written test, marks distribution or a merit list.
