A total of 3 vacancies are available under the PPV&FRA and ICAR funded projects in the Division of Vegetable Science.

The minimum age is 21 years for SRF and maximum age is 35 years as on the date of interview. For Young Professionals, the minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 45 years.

House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be given as per existing Central Government rates applicable in various cities/locations.

The notification does not mention any application fee.

Selection is made through screening of applications followed by an offline interview conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee.

The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for one year or till completion/termination of the concerned project, whichever is earlier. All posts are co-terminus with the respective project, and selected candidates shall have no claim for regular appointment or absorption in ICAR/IARI. Applications will be screened, and only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be informed by email regarding the date and time of the offline interview. No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview. Concealment of facts or submission of false information will lead to disqualification or termination of candidature. Candidates having near or distant relatives employed in ICAR/IARI must declare the details in Annexure-II. Selected candidates must abide by institute rules including laboratory safety, biosafety, and data security norms.
