The recruitment notice announces a total of 2 vacancies for the Young Professional–II (IT) position under the AGRIM Unit of ICAR, New Delhi.

Candidates must fulfill the essential qualifications specified for the Young Professional–II (IT) post: Essential Qualification 1: Graduate degree with at least 60% marks in Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/Operating Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Graphics, with one year of relevant experience. OR Essential Qualification 2: Master’s degree in Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/ Operating Systems/Software Engineering/ Computer Graphics. Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Web Application, Website and Portal development & management using Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or equivalent technologies; experience in database development and management, preferably PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL; basic knowledge of Git, Docker and DevOps practices including deployment and CI/CD; knowledge

The selected candidate will receive a fixed consolidated emolument of Rs. 42,000/- per month as per applicable ICAR guidelines. The engagement is purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the approved period or requirement of the engagement.

The selected candidate will work for the AGRIM Unit and may be assigned IT-related activities such as application and software development, database management, dashboards, data handling, automation, system support, and other activities related to the Unit.

The selection process is based on the screening of applications followed by an online interview. Eligible and shortlisted candidates based on project work requirement will be called via email for the online interview, which is fixed tentatively in the first or second week of November, 2026 (specifically noted as fixed tentatively on first/second week of November, 2026, with the interview specifically cited for 7 November 2026 in the opening details).
