How to Check IISER 2026 Round 5 Seat Allotment Result

• Visit the official IISER admission portal - iiseradmission.in
• Look for the "Round 5 Seat Allotment" or "Admission Offer" link on the homepage or candidate dashboard.
• Log in using your Application Number and Password.
• Navigate to the seat allotment/ admission offer section to view your Round 5 status.
• If allotted a seat, download the admission offer letter for your records.
• Go to the "Decision-Making" or "Edit/ View" tab to select Accept & Freeze or Accept & Float.
• Proceed to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) online before the deadline.

IISER 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 5 must pay the non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) online to confirm their offer. The category-wise SAF structure applicable through the 2026 counselling rounds is:

• The SAF amount (excluding the non-refundable administrative portion) is adjusted against the first-semester fee at the IISER where the candidate finally takes admission.
• Failure to pay the SAF within the Round 5 deadline (August 26, 2026) will result in cancellation of the offer, and the candidate will not be considered in subsequent rounds.
• Payment can be made online via debit/ credit card, net banking, or UPI, where enabled on the portal.

• Check the Round 5 result on iiseradmission.in using your login credentials.
• Download the admission offer letter.
• Select Accept & Freeze or Accept & Float on the Decision-Making tab.
• Pay the applicable SAF before August 26, 2026.
• Save the payment transaction number and receipt.
• Report to the allotted institute for document verification as per the schedule communicated on the portal.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Read all on-screen instructions carefully before submitting your Freeze/ Float decision - this cannot always be reversed.
• The SAF is non-refundable; the administrative portion is not adjustable, even if you later withdraw.
• Failing to act (pay SAF or make a decision) within the deadline may lead to automatic cancellation of the offer and loss of eligibility for later rounds.
• Candidates who fail to join the allotted IISER by the specified reporting date may be charged a cancellation fee by the concerned institute.
• Regularly check the official portal and your registered email/ phone for round-wise updates, as schedules for Round 6 onward are announced progressively.
