Experience should be from a Central or State Government organization, government-funded educational institution, government university, comparable research establishment or institution of higher education. Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or Social Work in Medical and Psychiatric specialization. The IISER Kolkata non-teaching selection process consists of the following stages: Shortlisting of online applications Computer Skill Test and/or Trade Test Written Examination Document Verification Medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents An institute-level Scrutiny Committee will examine the applications. If IISER Kolkata receives a large number of applications, candidates may be shortlisted based on qualifications, relevant experience and other prescribed criteria. Shortlisted candidates may be required to appear for a Computer Skill Test, Trade Test or both. These tests will be qualifying in nature, and their marks will not be added to the final written examination score. EWS candidates must produce a valid Income and Asset Certificate for the financial year 2026–27 based on income for 2025–26.
