The recruitment notification advertises a total of 2 vacancies across two specific project roles under Post No. 1 and Post No. 2.

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in R&D as operation and maintenance of instruments. Preference: Candidates with experience in R&D labs will be preferred.

The selected candidates will receive consolidated emoluments of Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA). The appointment is made purely on a temporary and contractual basis, initially for a period of one year. This tenure is extendable for a further period subject to the satisfactory performance of the incumbent and the continuation of the project.

Job Requirements for Post No. 1: The incumbent will be responsible for operating and handling FESEM, micro / nano-patterning instrumentation, and Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) systems for advanced material characterization and fabrication. Job Requirements for Post No. 2: The incumbent will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of Liquid Helium Plant and various cryogenic systems.

The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation. Appointed persons shall have no claim of appointment or absorption in IISER Pune. Photocopies of relevant certificates, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experiences, and a recent passport-size color photograph will be collected and verified at an appropriate stage. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Bringing any political or other influence will be treated as a disqualification. Upper age limit, educational qualification, and experience shall be determined as of the last date for submitting applications (25.10.2026).
