Candidates applying for the Visiting Artist position must fulfill the essential qualification. Those with desirable qualifications may be given preference during the selection process. Essential Qualification: Must have passed Class 12th from Central or State Board of Education. Desirable Qualification: Recipient of state or national awards/honours. Eligible Fields: Artists working in performing arts and handicrafts of Chhattisgarh. Age Limit: 21 to 65 years.

The selected Visiting Artist will receive a consolidated salary of Rs 30,000 per month. The position is funded by the National Thermal Power Company Ltd (NTPC) under the Centre for Studies on Culture Language and Traditions (CCLT) at IIT Bhilai. The duration of the appointment is 3 months.

The selection process involves shortlisting of candidates based on their qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed requirements. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
