IIT Delhi Consultant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The cut-off date for determining age, experience, and educational qualification is 28 October 2026.

Candidates applying for the post must be below 50 years of age as of 28 October 2026.

The remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate's domain knowledge, skills, and experience. Further, the remuneration shall not be more than twenty percent higher than the remunerations received in any of the previous services/engagements. The remuneration may be reviewed after completion of one year on an annual basis, with an annual remuneration increment ranging between 03% to 10% subject to performance assessment by the Reporting and Reviewing Officer.

The notification does not mention any application fee.

The selection process comprises shortlisting of applications received within the due date by a Committee, followed by a shortlisting-based interview for shortlisted candidates only.

This engagement is purely on a contract basis initially for a period of 01 year, which can be extended up to a maximum of 03 years subject to requirement and review of satisfactory work performance. Appearance in the interview and selection thereafter does not entitle any claim whatsoever for permanency on the regular establishment of IIT Delhi. Incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be considered for the interview and notified via email. If the engagement is at the upper limit of the remuneration range, no annual remuneration increment shall be admissible. If any information is found false or incorrect at any stage, the candidature or appointment is liable to be cancelled. The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, postpone or cancel the recruitment altogether without assigning any reason thereof.
