Qualification / Eligibility
M.Tech./M.S./M.Phil. or equivalent qualifications in an appropriate discipline. Candidates must have a good academic record with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th. A Ph.D. degree in Earth Sciences or a closely related discipline with specialization in fluvial geomorphology is desirable. Doctoral research in areas aligned with modelling of sediment transport, fluvial geomorphology or ravine processes will be preferable. Candidates should have good field experience in the area of geomorphology.
