The upper age limit is 32 years as on 1 November 2026. It is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, Female and PH candidates. Post-graduation in Basic Sciences/Engineering/Pharmacy/Technology from a UGC recognized University/Institute/Autonomous bodies. 60% aggregate marks for GEN candidates and 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PH candidates. CSIR/UGC-NET/SET or GATE/GPAT qualification. Prior experience in basic techniques applied in Advanced Material, Environmental Sustainability and Energy Technology, and Health and Medical Technologies. Applicants from the SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PH categories who hold a valid Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate will be given priority, if found suitable. Selection is by interview, and only shortlisted candidates will be called. The interview schedule will be conveyed through the University website or by email. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

The initial appointment runs up to 31 March 2027 and is likely to continue till the project ends. The project will be implemented at Indian Institute of Technology Indore in collaboration with Samrat Vikramaditya Vishwavidyalaya, Ujjain. The workplace may vary from time to time as per project requirements.
