IIT JAM 2027 Test Papers

JAM 2027 will be conducted for seven test papers:

• Biotechnology (BT)
• Chemistry (CY)
• Economics (EN)
• Geology (GG)
• Mathematical Statistics (MS)
• Mathematics (MA)
• Physics (PH)

Candidates can appear for one or two papers, but two papers can only be chosen if they fall in different sessions (forenoon and afternoon) on exam day.

IIT JAM 2027 Registration Process - Step by Step

Applications for JAM 2027 can be submitted only through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).

Step 1: Register on JOAPS

Sign up using your name, a valid email address, mobile number, and a password. Your Enrolment ID and an OTP will be sent to your registered email and phone.

Step 2: Log In and Fill the Application

Use your Enrolment ID or registered email to log in, then complete the online application form with your personal and academic details.

Step 3: Upload Documents

Complete the payment via net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI, or wallet.

Monitor your status through stages: Received → Under Scrutiny → Accepted/Defect Status → Rectified → Admit Card Ready.

• Changing your exam city, test paper, category, gender, or date of birth after submission costs an additional ₹300, plus any applicable fee difference.
• The application fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, even if the payment is made in error.
• If money is debited but the portal does not register the payment due to a technical glitch, it is automatically refunded to the source account - this can take a week or more after the application window closes.
