The notice describes the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) as an autonomous super-specialty institute under GNCT of Delhi and a Deemed-to-be-University by the UGC. ILBS works in patient care, teaching and research on liver, gall bladder and pancreatobiliary diseases. The notice gives the institute's address as D – 1, Vasant Kunj, Delhi – 110070.

Computer knowledge: A working knowledge of computers is essential for all the posts. Pay: The pay is pre-revised PB - IV, GP - 8700, with the 7th CPC applicable. The ILBS Consultant Grade IV selection has two stages: screening of applications, then an interview. ILBS will not reply to candidates about how the interview is conducted or why someone was not called.

All three posts are on a contract basis for one year. Either side can end the contract with at least three months' notice in writing, or salary instead of the notice period. The vacancy may change at any time. ILBS reserves the right to fill or not fill any post, and no appeal will be accepted. The vacancy may be taken off the website once the post is filled. If a post falls vacant, ILBS can add it at its discretion. ILBS reserves the right to reject any or all applications without giving reasons.
