Indian Army TGC-145 Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be either: (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Nepal, or (iii) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates in categories (ii) and (iii) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India, except Gorkha subjects of Nepal, for whom this certificate is not necessary. Where required, this certificate must be attached with the application. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

A BE/B.Tech or M.Sc Computer Science in one of the notified engineering streams listed in the vacancy table above. Candidates in the final year of an engineering degree course, who have yet to pass the final year degree examination, can also apply. They must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination, along with marksheets of all semesters/years, by 01 July 2027, to TGC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066, and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at IMA, failing which their candidature is liable to be cancelled. Shortlisting of Applications: The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications based on the vacancy-to-call-up ratio for each engineering stream, without assigning any reason.
