Indian Coast Guard Foreman of Stores Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Offline

The number of vacancies and places of posting are tentative and may change according to service requirements. Selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in India, including the mainland, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep.

Candidates must satisfy either of the following qualification and experience combinations: Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognized university or institution. One year of experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognized university or institution; or Diploma in Material Management, Warehousing Management, Purchasing, Logistics or Public Procurement from a recognized university or institution. Two years of experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts. The prescribed stores and accounts experience must have been gained in any of the following: Central Government organization State Government organization Statutory or autonomous organization Public Sector Undertaking University or

The Foreman of Stores post carries Pay Level 6 under the applicable Central Government pay structure.

Acting as custodian of the storehouse. Supervising staff working under the Foreman of Stores. Assisting senior officers in the audit of ledgers and folios. Coordinating with the audit authority. Managing inventory and disposing of scrap materials. Supervising the receipt and issue of stores in the warehouse. Ensuring effective material management. Performing other duties connected with stores and service requirements.
