A total of 58 temporary vacancies have been advertised across 10 post codes and branches.

IPR Category-wise Vacancy 2026

The eligibility of all candidates in all respects including age and qualification is determined with reference to 16-11-2026. Only Indian Nationals need to apply. All qualifications must be from UGC recognized Indian Universities / AICTE approved Institute or Board only. Applicants with qualifications from foreign countries must submit an equivalency certificate from UGC / AIU. For the Project Scientific Assistant posts, only candidates holding a three-year Diploma will be considered. Candidates possessing higher qualification than the ONE prescribed for Post Code 01 & 02 will be treated as over qualified for the advertised post and will not be screened in.

The age limit is calculated with reference to 16-11-2026. Age relaxation is admissible to SC / ST / OBC / PwBD / Ex-servicemen candidates as per Government of India orders on the subject from time to time.

In addition to the remuneration mentioned above, Medical Scheme facility under Contributory Health Service Scheme – CHSS facility (self only) is admissible, and necessary deductions will be made every month from salary/remuneration as per IPR CHSS rules. The official notification does not mention the in-hand salary.

Application fee must be paid through online mode only via SBI Collect. Candidates claiming fee exemption must submit the relevant certificate, failing which their candidature will not be considered. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor held in reserve.

The selection process comprises the following stages: Scrutiny of online applications based on age, educational qualification, category certificate, fee receipt, and other criteria. For Project Scientific Officer & Project Scientific Assistant (Post Code 01 & 02): Selection is solely based upon performance in personal interview. A written test may be conducted for screening purpose only, if required. For Project Administrative Staff (Post Code 03): Selection is based on written test and computer skill test.

A recent passport size colour photograph. Proof of age: Date of Birth as recorded in Birth Certificate, Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), or Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate mentioning DOB. Educational mark sheets, certificates, and degrees. Experience certificate(s), if any. Certificate of caste/community/class in prescribed Govt. of India format (for SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer/PwBD/EWS/Ex-Serviceman candidates), if applicable. Equivalency certificate from UGC/AIU for applicants with foreign qualifications. Any other relevant documents.
