ISRO ICRB Scientist/Engineer Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 175 Posts

A total of 175 vacancies have been notified for Scientist/Engineer 'SC' across six post codes, covering constituent ISRO Centres and the autonomous body PRL. The number of vacancies notified is tentative, and ISRO reserves the right to increase or decrease this number, with any change notified through a corrigendum on the ISRO website. An asterisk (*) against a PwBD figure denotes a backlog vacancy. If suitable PwBD candidates are not available in a notified disability category, the vacancy may be filled by interchange among the five PwBD categories (A to E), and if no suitable PwBD candidate is available at all, the post will be filled by a candidate other than a person with disability.

Eligibility for ISRO Scientist Engineer SC Recruitment 2026 is assessed on educational qualification, nationality, and age as on 16-09-2026. The notification clarifies that graduation must be completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the university. Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month. In addition to basic pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant Central Government rules.

There is a non-refundable application fee of ₹250 for all posts. However, all candidates must initially and uniformly pay ₹750 as a processing fee at the time of applying online. The application fee is collected only in online mode through the Bharatkosh e-payment gateway, using Internet Banking, Unified Payment Interface (UPI), or Domestic Debit Cards. Cash, cheque, draft, money order, or IPO payments are not accepted. Selection for ISRO Scientist Engineer SC Recruitment 2026 is based on a Written Test/CBT followed by an Interview.
