ISRO SDSC SHAR has announced 97 vacancies across technical, scientific, nursing, skilled-trade, driving and supporting staff posts.

ISRO SDSC SHAR Post Code-Wise Vacancy Details

Applicants must possess the prescribed post-specific educational qualifications and other eligibility conditions by the application closing date. Technician B applicants must have the NCVT trade qualification corresponding to their selected post code. Important: Boiler Attendant applicants must possess both the prescribed NAC in Boiler Attendant trade and a First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate. A general ITI certificate alone does not meet this specific requirement. For Light Vehicle Driver A and Heavy Vehicle Driver A posts, the prescribed experience must have been gained after obtaining a valid driving licence. Experience certificates must be issued by Government/Semi-Government agencies, registered companies, societies, trusts or other eligible organizations. Age Relaxation

Selected candidates will receive the pay scale applicable to their post under the Central Government pay structure. These approximate monthly figures represent basic pay plus DA at the minimum pay level. HRA and Transport Allowance are governed by applicable Government of India rules. Other benefits are subject to ISRO service conditions.

Approximate Monthly Emoluments

The notification prescribes different processing fees according to the post code. All applicants must initially pay the specified processing fee online. For post codes 07–15, the effective application fee after refund is Rs. 250 for other candidates and nil for the exempt categories. For post codes 16–30, it is Rs. 100 for other candidates and nil for the exempt categories, provided they appear in the written examination and meet the refund conditions. Important Fee Refund Condition: The refund is available only to candidates who appear in the Written Test. Candidates absent from the examination will not receive a refund. Applicants must enter their bank account details accurately to receive any eligible refund.

The selection procedure differs according to the notified post. For posts with qualifying skill or physical tests, the final merit is prepared according to the written examination performance of candidates who qualify in the required subsequent stages.

The minimum written-test qualifying marks are 32 out of 80 for unreserved candidates and 24 out of 80 for eligible candidates against reserved posts. The minimum qualifying marks for the skill test are 50 out of 100 for unreserved candidates and 40 out of 100 for eligible candidates against reserved posts. The examination duration is 120 minutes, with one mark for each correct answer and a deduction of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer. The subsequent driving skill test is qualifying in nature. The MTS examination covers Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension.

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Exam Pattern

Selected candidates may be posted at the following ISRO facilities depending on their post code and vacancy availability. Applicants for posts with multiple notified locations must provide their order of posting preference. Allocation is based on merit, preference and vacancy availability. Selected candidates are also subject to all-India transfer liability within ISRO/Department of Space.
