Janpad Panchayat Bijapur is the block-level panchayat office in District Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, headed by its Chief Executive Officer. Applications must be made in the prescribed form (आवेदन पत्र) printed on pages 4 and 5 of the notice, addressed to: Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat Bijapur, District Bijapur (C.G.). One Gram Rozgar Sahayak is to be recruited in each of the following 23 gram panchayats. In the last column, "Women" means the post is reserved for women of that category and "Mukt" means it is not reserved for women within that category. By category, the 23 posts are: ST 16, UR 3, OBC 3 and SC 1. Of these, 11 posts are reserved for women and 12 are Mukt. Passing the minimum Higher Secondary examination, i.e. 12th pass, is mandatory (10th pass for SC and ST). A selection committee constituted at the Janpad Panchayat level will prepare a gram panchayat-wise merit list. After approval by the District Programme Coordinator (Collector), the appointment order will be issued by the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat Bijapur. The merit list is prepared out of 100 marks: If no SC/ST woman candidate is available, a male candidate of the same category may be selected. In gram panchayats from which no applications of eligible candidates are received, a candidate of the same category living in a nearby gram panchayat (within Janpad Panchayat Bijapur) may be selected according to merit. The decision of the Collector and District Programme Coordinator, District Bijapur, on applications and selection will be final and binding.
