JCECEB NEET UG 2026 Merit List - Overview Table

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) ran an online application process to prepare a merit list based on the NEET (UG)-2026 result for admission to the M.B.B.S. course under All India and NRI quota seats on 13/08/2026 in four institutions: Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College Hospital (Bisrampur, Palamu), Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital (Adityapur, Seraikela-Kharsawan), Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital (Dumka), and Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (Khunti). This is separate from state-quota admissions and separate from the general JCECE engineering/pharmacy entrance exam (see the FAQ section below for that distinction).

Application / Registration Fee

• Payment is accepted online only - via credit card, debit card, or net banking, along with applicable bank charges.
• Cheques, money orders, postal orders, and demand drafts are not accepted.
• Fees, once paid, are non-refundable under any circumstance.
• Bank/payment gateway charges are borne by the applicant.

How to Apply / How to Check the Merit List

• Visit the official JCECEB NEET UG portal for this admission cycle.
• Click New Registration to register; a Registration Number is sent via SMS and email (check the spam folder if not visible in the inbox).
• Log in using the Log In button to complete the application form - fill in name, gender, date of birth, category, disability status, educational qualification, email ID, mobile number, and communication address.
• Upload photograph, signature, and left thumb impression as per the specified file formats and sizes, then preview to confirm all uploads are clear and correctly placed.
• Pay the application fee online (fee is mandatory for all candidates except PH/Divyang candidates, per the portal).
• Review all filled details, tick the declaration checkbox, and click the final Submit button.
• To check the merit list after publication, go to the Notifications section on the official portal and open the relevant "Merit List" PDF for the counselling round.

Important Instructions

• Read all Notifications carefully before submitting a query to the helpdesk.
• Do not share your Login ID and Password with anyone; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• Always click Sign Out and close the browser window after completing your session.
• The portal notes that your IP address is recorded and monitored for security purposes.
• If your signature does not match the scanned signature on the Admit Card/Attendance Sheet, your candidature may be disqualified.
• Any false or incorrect information detected at any stage will lead to summary rejection or termination of candidature.
• If a payment shows "Pending," "Failure," "Rejected," or another technical issue, it is the candidate's responsibility to ensure successful payment before the due date.
