JEPC Manager for School of Excellence Category-wise Vacancy 2026

The maximum age limit for applying for the position of School Manager is 62 years as on 1.10.2026. The maximum age of a selected candidate for renewal of the contract on an annual basis shall be 65 years.

For offline mode, applicants must pay through a Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of State Project Director, Jharkhand Education Project Council, Ranchi. For online mode, payment is made through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI via the JEPC website post submission of the application form.

Selection shall be made either through an interview or through a written test followed by an interview, depending on the number of applicants for the respective post, as determined by the JEPC Selection Committee headed by the State Project Director.

The selected candidates shall initially be appointed on a short-term contract for a period of one year. The contract may be extended on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance assessed through the Annual Performance Appraisal. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, EBC, BC, and EWS categories of Jharkhand must provide caste and reservation-related certificates as per Annexure-C. Preference will be given to candidates with substantial experience as Principal or Vice-Principal in CBSE-affiliated schools. Application received after the stipulated date (21/10/2026 by 05:00 PM) will not be accepted under any circumstances. One form should be used for one post, and all entries must be made in capital letters. Any dispute with regard to this recruitment will be subject to the court having its jurisdiction at Ranchi only.
