  2. Candidates must hold a recognised MBBS degree registered under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with the relevant postgraduate qualification and post-PG experience as per the specialty:
  3. Anaesthesiology: M.D. in Anaesthesiology + 3 years post-PG experience in a recognised institution. Cardiology: D.M. in Cardiology. 1 year post-DM experience required only for 2-year or 5-year DM courses; no experience required for 3-year or 6-year DM. Medicine: M.D. in Medicine + 3 years post-PG experience in a recognised institution. Nephrology: D.M. in Nephrology. 1 year post-DM experience required for 2-year or 5-year DM; no experience for 3-year or 6-year DM. Obstetrics & Gynaecology: M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology + 3 years post-PG experience. Orthopaedics: M.S. in Orthopaedics + 3 years post-PG experience. Radio-Diagnosis: M.D. in Radio-Diagnosis + 3 years post-PG experience
  4. Candidates must hold a medical qualification included in Schedule I or II or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with 3 years of post-internship experience after completing the 1-year compulsory internship
  5. M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from a recognised institute/university. Minimum 2 years of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in a recognised institute or hospital. Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) - Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) is mandatory

The application once submitted is final. No changes will be entertained under any circumstances. If an error is found, a fresh application with a new fee must be submitted before the closing date; the earlier application stands automatically cancelled. Candidates recruited for a particular JIPMER campus cannot claim transfer to another campus. However, the competent authority reserves the right to transfer candidates if needed. For the post of GDMO, candidates must indicate their order of campus preference (Puducherry, Karaikal, Yanam) at the time of application. This preference is final and cannot be changed at any stage. All updates regarding CBT, interview, and results will be published only on the JIPMER website. Individual letters will not be sent to shortlisted candidates. Candidates must appear for Certificate Verification/Interview at their own cost. No TA/DA will be paid. Mobile phones, calculators, digital watches, and all electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited at the examination centre. Legal jurisdiction for any disputes arising from the recruitment process will be the Union Territory of Puducherry.
