The positions are purely on a temporary basis for the DHR project titled "Health Technology Assessment-Centre of Excellence" in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, JIPMER. The likely duration is one year with a possibility of extension up to two years based on performance. The consolidated remuneration for Senior Health Economist is Rs. 1,23,000/- per month plus HRA, and for Project Scientist-III is Rs. 78,000/- per month plus HRA. Hiring of manpower may vary according to the study undertaken, but within the aforesaid budget, and in exceptional cases, a 10% variation will be permitted after approval of the competent authority.
