Selection Process

  • Selection for all advertised posts will be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Written/OMR Based Examination only. In case of a large number of applications

  • The examination will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions set in English Language only. There will be negative marking of one-fourth of marks for each wrong answer. The date and venue of the examination shall be notified separately on the official website jkssb.nic.in.
  • Stage 2 – Document Verification (DV)
  • Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written examination merit will be called for Document Verification. Original documents along with self-attested photocopies must be produced. Failure to appear or produce valid documents on the scheduled DV date shall lead to cancellation of candidature.
  • Stage 3 – Medical Examination
  • Selected candidates must be medically fit as per the standards prescribed by the Government of J&K.
