Karnataka DCET 2026 Round 2: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) counselling in multiple rounds for lateral entry admission of diploma holders into the second year (third semester) of B.E./ B.Tech engineering degree courses at institutions across Karnataka. The Option Entry Link Opened on 2nd September 2026. Candidates who did not get an allotment in the earlier round, or who wish to revise their preferences, participate in the option entry process for this round.

How to Complete Karnataka DCET 2026 Round 2 Option Entry

• Visit the official KEA website at keaonline.karnataka.gov.in & cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
• Click on the DCET 2026 counselling/option entry link for the current round.
• Log in using your DCET 2026 CET number and password (or the credentials specified on the portal).
• Select your preferred course(s) from the list displayed.
• For each selected course, choose from the list of colleges offering it.
• Arrange your college-course combinations in order of priority (1, 2, 3, and so on), placing your most preferred choice first.
• Repeat the process to add further course-college combinations as needed.
• Review all entered options carefully, then submit and lock your choices before the deadline.
• Save or download a printout of the submitted option entry form for your records.
