Pass in 2nd PUC conducted by the Karnataka Department of Pre-University Education, or a 3-year Diploma in Commercial Practice, or an equivalent qualification (CBSE/ICSE Class 12, other state board Class 12, NIOS Senior Secondary course, or a 3-year diploma/2-year ITI/2-year vocational diploma combined with the specified NIOS language and subject courses), obtained by the last date for applying. In addition, a pass in the Senior Grade Typewriting examination (Kannada and English) conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, or a Diploma in Secretarial Practice, or equivalent, is required. Fees must be paid online only, through the SBI e-Pay Payment Portal linked on the court website, via net banking, credit card, debit card, UPI, or QR code. Selection is based on the percentage of marks scored in the qualifying examination, marks scored in a computer typewriting skill test (typing a given 15-minute passage), and interview marks.
