Candidates must be holding the post of ALP/Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railway. Candidates must possess the requisite A1 Medical classification and be medically fit to perform Running Staff duties. Any one of the following: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognised institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Filter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman; OR Matriculation/SSLC plus course-completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above; OR HSC/12th Std. (10+2) Science pass in regular schooling; OR 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering, or a combination of these engineering di

Eligible, suitable applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility and experience, if required, as per the Vacancy Notice. The Administrative Office (Zonal Railway/Production Unit/Railway Board, etc.) forwarding the application is required to mention the candidate's APAR gradings for the last five years, along with No Objection, Vigilance, and DAR Clearance.

This recruitment is only for serving ALP/Sr. ALP employees in the regular cadre of Indian Railway - it is not an open/direct recruitment for candidates outside the Railway.
