One of the following: Master's Degree in Shipping Management, Maritime Studies, Port and Shipping Management, Maritime Transport, or Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialisation in Shipping, Maritime Management or Logistics. Candidates also need considerable field experience in the shipping and maritime transport sector, gained after obtaining their highest qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced diploma or degree in Shipping, Maritime Management, Port Operations, Maritime Transport, Logistics or a related field, and to those with published research papers or publications in the relevant field. Maintain coordination among the UT Planning Department, LKI and NITI Aayog. Assist the State Institution for Transformation (SIT) in achieving its objectives in collaboration with NITI Aayog and LKI. Evaluate existing strategies, methodologies and systems to improve the socio-economic conditions of the UT. Prepare development strategies, sectoral targets, socio-economic goals and the UT Vision@2047, with a roadmap for achieving them. Draft policy briefs, presentations and other relevant documents. Coordinate with development partners and the technical agencies concerned. Support ways to strengthen horizontal and vertical coordination within the Government. Work with UT officials to prepare project proposals for the UT Government to implement. Assist the UT in strengthening its innovation ecosystem and its monitoring and evaluation ecosystem.
