A total of 57 vacancies are available for the post of Assistant Professor across various departments on a contract basis.

Selections will be made as per the NMC norms through an interview conducted at the Chambers of Dean, LTMG Hospital & Medical College Sion, Mumbai 400 022 according to the scheduled department dates and timings.

This appointment is purely on a contract basis until 31.03.2027 and not a regular basis. The candidate appointed on contract basis can be discontinued at any time if not required. Selected candidates will be appointed at LTMG Hospital & Medical College and can be transferred to Municipal Medical College as per requirement. The Municipal Commissioner M.C.G.M. has the right to stop the selection process at any time and at any stage. Selected candidates are only eligible for grant of Casual Leave and Special Casual Leave as per circular No. Director/M.E. & M.H/3644 dated 14.10.2022. If a candidate appointed on contract basis desires to resign, a notice of one month in advance must be submitted.
