The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), has released a revised Centralised Admission Process (CAP) schedule for admission to the 3-Year LLB and 5-Year Integrated LLB courses for the academic year 2026-27. The revision follows delays linked to pending Bar Council of India (BCI) approval for several law colleges. Registration and counselling activity for both courses are being conducted through separate portals - llb3cap26.mahacet.org for the 3-year LLB course and llb5cap26.mahacet.org for the 5-year integrated LLB course.

How to Register and Fill the College Option Form

| Register or log in using your MH CET Law 2026 credentials. |
| Complete registration and upload the required documents within the notified window. |
| Check the alphabetical list and raise a grievance/edit application if required, within the resolution window. |
| After the final merit list is published, log in during the College Option Form Filling period and submit/arrange your college preferences. |
| Check the seat allotment result on the scheduled date and time (5:00 PM). |
| If allotted a seat, choose Freeze or Betterment (where applicable) and report to the allotted college within the reporting window. |
How to Check MAH LLB CAP Seat Allotment Result
- Go to the official CAP portal for your course (llb3cap26.mahacet.org or llb5cap26.mahacet.org).
- Log in with your registered candidate ID and password/date of birth as prompted.
- Open the seat allotment/result section for the relevant round.
- View and download the allotment letter.
- Proceed to report to the allotted college within the notified reporting dates.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Round 1, 2, and 3 allotment results are published at 5:00 PM on the scheduled date for both courses.
- Candidates not yet registered but holding a valid MH CET Law 2026 qualification can still register for Round III and the institutional-level round between August 5 and September 5, 2026.
- The Betterment option can be used a maximum of two times and is not available in Round III.
- Round III is the final CAP round; there is no auto-freeze, so candidates must actively select Freeze or Betterment after each allotment (where the option is available).
- Always cross-check dates on the official portal, as CAP schedules are subject to further revision by the CET Cell.
