MGU Sem I,II and VII Result 2026 - Overview

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam has released three separate Mercy Chance Degree Examination results for the December 2025 session between July 10, 2026 and July 14, 2026. The results cover I Semester MBA (2015-2018 Admission Mercy Chance), I & II Semester B.Tech (2010 Admission Special Mercy Chance), and VII Semester IMCA/DDMCA (2016-2019 Admission) examinations. Candidates can check their results through the PRN-wise result portals linked below, and revaluation/scrutiny applications for all three results must be submitted by July 28 or July 29, 2026, depending on the programme.

1. I Semester MBA Mercy Chance Result December 2025

This result covers the I Semester MBA Degree Examination December 2025 for the following categories:

• 2018 & 2017 Admission -First Mercy Chance
• 2016 Admission -Second Mercy Chance
• 2015 Admission -Final Mercy Chance

The result was released under Notification No. 46758/EI 35-1/2026/EI 35, referencing the earlier university notification dated February 19, 2026 (No. 42372/EA 1/3/2019/EA 1).

2. I & II Semester B.Tech Special Mercy Chance Result December 2025

This result covers the I & II Semester B.Tech Degree (2010 Admission) Special Mercy Chance Examination December 2025, released under Notification No. 55897/EI 15-3/2026/EI 15, referencing the earlier notification dated December 5, 2025 (No. 3028/EA 1/3/2020/EA 1).

3. VII Semester IMCA & DDMCA Result December 2025

This result covers the VII Semester Integrated Master of Computer Applications (IMCA) and VII Semester Dual Degree Master of Computer Applications (DDMCA) December 2025 examinations, released under Notification No. 34949/EH 16-1/2026/EH 16, referencing the earlier notification dated April 28, 2026 (No. 4418/EA1-1/2022/EA 1). How to Check MGU Result 2026

Follow these steps to check your PRN-wise result on the official MGU result portal:

• Visit the relevant PRN-wise result link for your programme (see Important Links table below).
• Enter your PRN (Permanent Registration Number) or the details requested on the portal.
• Submit the form to view your result.
• Download or take a screenshot/printout of the result for future reference, including for revaluation or scrutiny applications.

How to Apply for Revaluation/Scrutiny -MBA Result

MBA candidates must submit the fee payment receipt along with the mark sheet/hall ticket to the Controller of Examinations office by July 28, 2026. Application forms are available at the university store for ₹55, or can be downloaded from the website for the same fee.

How to Apply for Revaluation/Scrutiny -B.Tech Result

B.Tech candidates must apply online, on or before July 29, 2026, through the Students Portal at studentportal.mgu.ac.in. Full instructions for submitting the application are available on that portal.

How to Apply for Revaluation/Scrutiny -IMCA/DDMCA Result

The application process differs by admission batch:

• 2019 Admission (Supplementary) students: Apply online on or before July 29, 2026, through the Students Portal on the university website (www.mgu.ac.in).
• 2016, 2017, and 2018 Admission students: Submit the application, along with the fee receipt, to the Controller of Examinations office on or before July 29, 2026.

All candidates must submit a copy of the hall ticket/mark list along with the completed application form.

Important Instructions

• Deadlines differ by programme -MBA candidates have until July 28, 2026, while B.Tech and IMCA/DDMCA candidates have until July 29, 2026.
• Keep the fee payment receipt safe, as it is a mandatory document for both online and offline revaluation/scrutiny applications.
