Steps to Download the MH CET Law 2026 Seat Allotment Letter

• Visit the official 3-year LLB CAP portal: llb3cap26.mahacet.org
• Log in using your registered application ID/roll number and password (or date of birth, as prescribed on the portal).
• Navigate to the "CAP Round 1 Allotment Result" or "Allotment Letter" section.
• Your allotment status, along with the allotted college and course, will be displayed.
• Download and save the allotment letter, and take a printout for reporting purposes.

Seat Acceptance Fee

Candidates accepting their allotted seat in Round 1 are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 through the CAP portal at the time of reporting.

Reporting Process

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to their allotted college between August 20 and August 22, 2026, to complete the admission formalities. Colleges are required to upload the list of admitted candidates on the portal by August 23, 2026.

What Happens After Round 1

Candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 1, or who opted for Betterment, will automatically be considered in Round 2 of the CAP process, subject to seat vacancies. The CET Cell has also opened registration for unregistered CET-qualified candidates for Round III and the Institutional Level Round, which will remain open till September 5, 2026.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must report to the allotted college within the specified window; failure to report on time may lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
• Reporting to the college is generally treated as confirmation of admission acceptance, so candidates should be certain before reporting.
• Keep login credentials (application ID and password) secure, as they are required to access the allotment letter and to select Freeze/Betterment.
• Regularly check the official portal for any updates, corrigenda, or schedule revisions, since CAP dates have been revised multiple times in the 2026 cycle.
• Candidates should verify all personal, category, and academic details on the allotment letter and report discrepancies to the CET Cell or the allotted college immediately.
