Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment across designated healthcare facilities. Coordinate with facilities, Jr. Equipment engineers, suppliers and authorised service providers for timely servicing and repair. Monitor breakdowns, downtime, warranty coverage, AMCs and CMCs. Keep an updated equipment inventory and prepare periodic reports on equipment status and pending repairs. Coordinate inspections, calibration, performance assessments and safety checks. Recommend repair, replacement or condemnation of obsolete, non-functional or irreparable equipment. Give technical inputs for maintenance planning, budgeting, spare parts and service contracts. A selected ICU Technician will perform duties at the location assigned by MMDSL and must comply with hospital protocols, infection control measures and patient safety standards. The ICU Technician must work within the scope of their qualifications, training and authorization, and maintain discipline, confidentiality and punctuality throughout the engagement.
