MoPSW Deputy Director Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

The Ministry has notified a total of 1 vacancy for the post of Deputy Director (Engineering) in the Development Wing.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

The period of deputation including short-term contract in another ex-cadre post held immediately prior to this appointment in the same or any other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

The notification does not mention any application fee.

Two copies of Bio-data / Curriculum Vitae duly signed by the applicant and certified by Employer Complete and up-to-date ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years attested by an Under Secretary or equivalent officer Vigilance clearance certificate Cadre clearance and certificate ensuring immediate relieving upon selection Certificate regarding imposition of penalties (no major/minor penalties in the last 10 years) Integrity certificate

Candidates applying for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. Incomplete applications, applications received after the closing date, or applications not received through proper channel will be summarily rejected. The cut-off date for determining eligibility will be the last date for receipt of nominations in the Ministry (60th day from the publication date in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar). Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration, and deputationists are not eligible for promotion. Officers already on deputation must have their applications forwarded by their parent cadre/department along with required clearances.
