MPESB Subedar Vacancy 2026 – Post Details

A total of 507 posts are advertised across seven Subedar/Sub Inspector cadres, split between non-technical and technical streams. The rulebook notes the number of posts/departments may increase or decrease before selection concludes. Note: the UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS figures above do not add up to the Grand Total for each post - the source table splits an additional portion of vacancies into two further sub-columns (labelled "notional"/87% and "provisional"/13%), whose exact composition is not clearly extractable from the scanned rulebook. Candidates should verify exact category-wise numbers against the official PDF before applying. Each post-cadre further carries horizontal reservation for Ex-Servicemen (10%), serving Police personnel (15%), and Women (35%, not applicable to SI-SAF which is male-only), cutting across the vertical categories above.
