The university has advertised vacancies in six broad academic areas. Candidates can apply for the post of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor depending on the department and their eligibility. A doctorate (Ph.D.) with a consistently good academic record is the minimum educational qualification for all three posts. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade at the Master's level is also required. Degrees must be from a recognised university or institution of repute; for M.Phil./Ph.D. degrees from foreign universities, the university will determine equivalence as per applicable regulations.

Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 500 per post directly to the university's bank account. A separate application form and fee payment are required for each post applied for. The UTR/Transaction Reference Number must be mentioned in the application form.

The notification states that fulfilling the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. Where a large number of applications are received, the university may restrict the number of candidates called forward based on academic record, qualifications, experience, publications, and overall suitability.
