NEEPCO has announced a total of 7 Junior Engineer vacancies in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines. The vacancies are available at Agartala Gas Based Power Station and Tripura Gas Based Power Station.

Candidates applying for NEEPCO Junior Engineer posts must fulfil the educational qualification, age limit and other eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification. The recruitment is open for candidates registered in Agartala Employment Exchange or Sepahijala Employment Exchange who possess Tripura state domicile. Candidates must have a Full Time Regular Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The qualification should be from a State Technical Board or recognized institute. For UR candidates, minimum 70% marks are required. SC/ST candidates should have pass marks in the prescribed qualification. The upper age limit for NEEPCO Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 will be calculated as on 01 January 2026 . Ex-Serviceman candidates will receive an additional 10 years relaxation over the applicable upper age limit as per the notification.

Selected candidates for the NEEPCO Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 will undergo training for a period of 2 years at identified NEEPCO sites. After selection, candidates will be placed in the IDA pay scale applicable to S-1 Grade. The compensation package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) where applicable, Cafeteria allowance, Location Based Allowance (LBA), Provident Fund contribution, NEDCSS benefits and other benefits as per company rules. The selection process for NEEPCO Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 consists of a written test. Eligible candidates will have to appear for the examination conducted by NEEPCO. The written examination will consist of two parts: Aptitude Test and Technical Test. The Aptitude Test will cover General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.
