How to Use the Seat Matrix for Counselling

• Confirm the exact course. Check whether the college offers the MD, MS or Diploma speciality you want.
• Check the institution type. Look at the state and MCC category before shortlisting.
• Match seats to your rank. Compare your NEET PG rank with the number of seats in your target branches.
• Keep a backup list. Include more than one college and speciality option.
• Watch for updates. The matrix may change as additional approvals are granted.

Important Points to Note

• The NMC PDF should not be used to work out the total number of DNB seats available through MCC.
• Seats for new courses and increased intake that are still under process are not included in this matrix.
• Seat numbers can be revised, so always check the latest version before finalising choices.
• Rely on nmc.org.in, mcc.nic.in and natboard.edu.in rather than unofficial download links.
