The National e-Governance Division has advertised a total of 4 Co-Lead posts across specialized strategic functional domains.

The Co-Lead positions involve heading specialized strategic functional domains, spearheading large-scale nationwide digital interventions, handholding Central Ministries and State/UT Governments, collaborating with industry, academia, and startups, and driving proactive Business Development and institutional partnerships for NeGD services and digital public platforms. Co-Lead – Digital Transformation & Strategy: Establish digital governance roadmap, draft techno-legal frameworks, provide technical and process advisory, handle solution architecture, monitor digital governance projects, provide cross-tech advisory (AI, Cloud, IoT, GIS), lead business development, conduct stakeholder engagement, and create procurement advisory models. Co-Lead – Digital Infrastructure & Cyber Security: Advise ministries on cyber security policies and incident response, support secure cloud and infrastructure

Candidates already in regular or contractual employment under Central or State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel or attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer or produce it at the time of interview. The maximum age limit is 50 years on the closing date of receipt of application. The positions are purely temporary in nature for the project of NeGD/DIC and appointees shall not derive any right or claim for permanent appointment. NeGD reserves the right to terminate appointments with a notice of one month or without notice by paying one month's salary in lieu of notice. The designation of selected candidates shall be mapped as per the existing designation policy of NeGD.
